After an extensive reserarch for new terroir in the end of the 1990s, Michel Chapoutier, the famed Northern Rhône producer decided to locate Domaine de Bila-Haut in Côtes du Roussillon. The Domaine comprises 75 hectares of land cultivated, and is characterized by steep pebbly slopes rising from almost 150 meters above sea level. 40+ year old vines are carefully and meticulously managed by an experienced team of viticulturalists, where sustainable farming and low yields combine to create the highest quality fruit.
Domaine de Bila-Haut has gained world’s wine critics’ attention and international reputation since its presence.Les Vignes de BILA-HAUT Red has been chosen twice among Top 100 List by Wine Spectator in 2010 and in 2016.
